Sports and Spinal Group will be running a Concussion Management Session for Monash clubs in July. This session is free and it will be targeted to all club members including parents, players, coaches, so please share with your members. For full details, please see below:
Concussion Management Forum
The main objective of this session is to educate members of our clubs on how to properly detect and manage concussion in the initial stages from the sidelines during the game and then ensure there is a straightforward referral system so the individual receives adequate care.
This is immensely important to ensure players have less intensity of symptoms, lower the risk of ongoing chronic concussion and allow them to return safely to sport promptly while reducing hindrance in other aspects of their life.
