Waverley Baseball Club is delighted and honoured to welcome former Australian and MLB player Brad Harman to the Blackcats. Brad played his first game for the Blackcats’ on May 8.
Brad, a close friend and former Australian teammate of Blackcats coach Luke Hughes, is one of 35 Australians who have reached the pinnacle of world baseball.
After winning the 2005 Helms Award as well as securing the Golden Glove after the Claxton Shield series, Brad represented Australia at the World Baseball Classic before making his MLB debut aged 22.
It’s great to see ‘Harmo’ back playing again after a five year break.
Everyone in the Blackcat family and community extends their best to ‘Harmo’.
